On April 24, Quang Binh province in coordination with Vietnam Helicopter Corporation launched helicopter tours of heritage sites and other destinations within this area.
The service will enable travelers to observe Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park from above. It will also provide emergency aid for those who enjoy adventure tours of Son Doong cave, Tu Lan cave and En cave.
A flight for 22 passengers costs US$3,400, or nearly US$150 per person on average.
The Northern Vietnam Helicopter Company is currently conducting a number of pilot flights from 20th of April to 5th of May, 2014 to serve travelers.
